Bad Belzig
Bad Belzig is a historic town 70 kilometers southwest of Berlin. It is located within the Fläming hill range and in the centre of the High Fläming Nature Park. The town was once a part of the heartland of old Prussia. A lot of architectural features provide reminders of its eventful past. Furthermore, Bad Belzig is Germany's youngest thermal brine health spa.

The Hotel
The hotel is situated in the Eisenhardt Castle, a 1000-year old fortress with an adventurous and diverse history.

In the course of centuries, its functions varied from border fortress, hunting lodge, seat of justice and customs collection to air raid bunker, vocational college and youth hostel - to mention some of them.

Today, it contains the local museum, the civil registry office and the hotel Burghotel Bad Belzig.

Art Trail
The foothills of the Fläming mountains, the highest elevation of the Northern German lowlands, are dominated by heath forests, meadows with enormous boulders and tranquil villages with stone churches.

In this idyllic landscape, the Art Trail winds its way from Bad Belzig to Wiesenburg, showing 28 rather inspiring objects of all sizes which all somehow correspond with the surroundings and arouse curiosity.

St. Mary's Church
St. Mary's Church in Bad Belzig is the most significant religious building in the region – but not only for its great age or architecture: on January 14th, 1530 Martin Luther stood on the pulpit and gave a sermon.

There are several more historical buildings and attractions like the thermal baths.
